David Jackson, a 35-year-old resident of Norfolk, Virginia, was tragically found dead in his home on December 13, 2015. His death was initially classified as undetermined but was later upgraded to an active homicide investigation. Concerned neighbors alerted emergency dispatchers about an open door at Jackson's home, leading police to discover his body inside the residence. The medical examiner determined that Jackson died from a gunshot wound to the head.
