On a summer evening in Norfolk, Virginia, the life of 15-year-old David Godfrey Jr. was tragically cut short. On June 2, 2019, the teenager became a victim of gun violence in the city. Remembered for his bright smile and caring soul, David was a student who had attended Tidewater Park Elementary and PB Young Sr. Elementary schools.
