On a spring evening in Norfolk, Virginia, the life of Roosevelt A. McKinney, a 33-year-old male, was abruptly cut short. On April 2, 2022, at approximately 6:25 p.m., police were called to the MacArthur Center mall following reports of gunshots. Officers arrived to a chaotic scene where they found McKinney outside the mall, suffering from a gunshot wound. Despite immediate medical attention, he was pronounced deceased at the scene.
