Roosevelt A. McKinney, aged 33, tragically lost his life on April 2, 2022, in Norfolk, Virginia. The incident occurred at the MacArthur Center Mall, where McKinney was fatally shot. The shooting took place around 6:25 p.m. inside a store within the mall, leading to chaos as shoppers fled for safety. McKinney was pronounced dead at the scene, and two other individuals were injured during the incident.
