Marquel S. Andrews, a 24-year-old resident of Portsmouth, Virginia, tragically lost his life following a shooting incident on Granby Street in Norfolk on March 19, 2022. Andrews was one of the victims in a violent episode that also claimed the lives of Devon “Malik” Harris and Sierra Jenkins, a reporter for The Virginian-Pilot. Andrews was critically injured in the shooting and fought for his life in the hospital for several weeks before succumbing to his injuries on April 12, 2022^1^.
