On March 13, 2024, at approximately 1 a.m., Norfolk Police responded to a report of a shooting in the 1700 block of Campostella Road, within the Diggs Town Housing community. Upon arrival, officers discovered 25-year-old Nikemeon Brewer of Portsmouth suffering from a life-threatening gunshot wound. Brewer was transported to a nearby hospital, where he succumbed to his injuries.
