In the early hours of March 13, 2024, the life of 25-year-old Nikemeon Brewer of Portsmouth was tragically cut short. A Black male, Brewer was found by Norfolk Police around 1:00 a.m. in the 1700 block of Campostella Road, located within the Diggs Town Housing community, suffering from a life-threatening gunshot wound. He was quickly transported to a nearby hospital for medical attention, but he ultimately succumbed to his injuries.
