Christopher Ryan Lee Neal, a 22-year-old resident of Comstock Township near Kalamazoo, Michigan, tragically lost his life on December 1, 2019, during a violent home invasion. Neal, who had recently moved to the area with his wife and young daughter, was at home when an intruder broke in. In an act of bravery, Neal confronted the intruder to protect his family, while his wife and daughter hid upstairs. During the confrontation, Neal was fatally shot by the intruder.
