On March 23, 2024, at approximately 11:30 p.m., the Kalamazoo Department of Public Safety responded to a reported vehicle crash on Jackson Street near Portage Street in Kalamazoo, Michigan. Upon arrival, officers discovered 25-year-old Bader Mohamed Farwana inside the vehicle, suffering from an apparent gunshot wound. Despite immediate lifesaving efforts, Farwana was pronounced dead at the scene.
