In the late hours of March 23, 2024, a report of a traffic crash on the 900 block of Jackson Street in Kalamazoo, Michigan, led to a grim discovery. First responders arrived at the scene just after 11:30 p.m. to find 25-year-old Bader Mohamed Farwana inside his vehicle. It was quickly apparent that this was no ordinary car accident; Farwana was suffering from a gunshot wound. Despite immediate life-saving efforts, the young man succumbed to his injuries at the scene.
