On the first day of 2024, the life of 26-year-old Romero Devon Weakley, a male resident of Kalamazoo, Michigan, was tragically cut short in a burst of gunfire. The incident unfolded in the early morning hours, at approximately 1:28 a.m., in the 100 block of East South Street. Officers from the Kalamazoo Department of Public Safety were dispatched to the scene following reports of multiple shots fired and a man down.
