In the summer of 2021, the life of 25-year-old Michael Jaye Underwood III, a White male from Kalamazoo, Michigan, was abruptly cut short. On the evening of July 24th, what began as a dispute over a child escalated into a fatal act of violence in the parking lot of a Kalamazoo Township apartment complex.
