In the early hours of a Saturday morning in Kalamazoo, Michigan, a life was tragically cut short, leaving a family and community in mourning. Tykarri Shaheed Lucas, a 23-year-old male who had recently moved to the city from Benton Harbor, was fatally shot on September 15, 2018.
