On a cold December day in Flint, Michigan, the body of 25-year-old Naomi Anthony, a Black female, was discovered in Hasselbring Park. It was December 26, 2020, and she had been fatally shot. Her death was one of four homicides that cast a dark shadow over the holiday weekend in a city already grappling with a surge in violent crime.
