On February 18, 2020, 26-year-old Mariah Marie Wells was found deceased in a home on the east side of Flint, Michigan. Her death was the result of gun violence in what police have identified as a triple homicide. Along with Wells, two men, Casius Eugene Childress, 49, and Winfred Ricky Galloway, 41, were also found dead at the scene.
The discovery was made when an individual went to the residence to check on a friend and found the three victims.
Michigan State Police were called to the home and launched an investigation into the city's first homicides of the year. Authorities stated that the deaths did not appear to be the result of a robbery.
Despite the ongoing investigation by the Michigan State Police and the Flint Police Department's Major Crimes Unit, no suspects have been publicly identified in the case.
