Known affectionately as 'Trina,' she was described as the life of the party, someone who had a special ability to make those around her feel important. Her life was filled with the joy of family and friends, and she particularly cherished her role as a grandmother to her three grandchildren. Her interests included playing bingo and cards with her loved ones.
Her death, which occurred at Hurley Medical Center, was the result of gun violence. Funeral services were held on Saturday, April 13, 2019, at the House of Prayer Missionary Baptist Church, with her final resting place at Gracelawn Cemetery in Flint.
