On June 1, 2022, Tanya L. Boyland, a 40-year-old resident of Flint, Michigan, was tragically killed in a shooting incident at her home on E. Foss Avenue. The incident occurred just after midnight, and police responded to the scene to find Boyland had been shot to death. Alongside her, a child, who was also shot, suffered non-life-threatening injuries and was taken to a hospital for treatment.
