In the early morning hours of May 8, 2026, the life of 9-year-old Tyhari Knox, an African American girl, was tragically cut short in a hail of gunfire at her home in Flint, Michigan. What should have been a peaceful night of sleep turned into a scene of unimaginable violence when multiple shooters unleashed more than 200 rounds into the family's residence on Altoona Street.
