Suelynn Burns, aged 54, and her 19-year-old son, Vanthony John Henry Burns, were tragically killed in a double homicide on January 7, 2015, in Flint, Michigan. The incident occurred during an apparent home invasion at the Atherton East Apartments. Both victims were found shot to death in their residence. This tragic event marked the third and fourth homicides in Flint for that year.
