In the winter of 2020, the city of Flint, Michigan, was the scene of a tragedy that claimed two lives. Heather Ann Flint Bonner, a 46-year-old woman, was killed on December 21, 2020. Her life was cut short in a violent act that also took the life of 34-year-old Thomas C. Biggs. The incident, a double homicide, left the community searching for answers and justice.
The investigation into the deaths of Bonner and Biggs eventually led authorities beyond the borders of Michigan.
Two individuals, Christopher Neely and Felecia McCarty, were identified as suspects in the case. They were located and apprehended in Florida before being extradited back to Genesee County to face the legal consequences of their alleged involvement in the double murder.
Upon their return to Michigan, Neely and McCarty were faced with serious accusations. The charges brought against them included first-degree felony murder, conspiracy to commit felony murder, and felony firearms offenses.
