Amiyah Lee, a 15-year-old from Jackson, Mississippi, tragically lost her life on September 13, 2021. The incident occurred around 9:30 p.m. on Abraham Lincoln Drive in the Presidential Hills neighborhood. Amiyah was shot in the head by an unknown suspect and was immediately taken to the University of Mississippi Medical Center, where she succumbed to her injuries the following morning. This incident marked the 105th homicide in Jackson for the year 2021.
