On a tragic day in Jackson, Mississippi, the life of 34-year-old Telisa Holder was cut short. On July 6, 2025, Holder and another woman, 35-year-old Racquel Freeman, were fatally shot as they were leaving the Fox Den nightclub on Wilmington Street. The two women were victims of a double homicide that shocked the local community. Holder, a beloved mother of two children, was remembered as a vibrant and outgoing person with a funny personality.
