In a tragic turn of events, 16-year-old Khloe Hudson of Jackson, Mississippi, was found deceased on March 30, 2026. Hudson, a student at Lanier Junior Senior High School, was discovered alongside a fellow student, 16-year-old Terry Burrell Jr., on a rural road in Hinds County. Both teenagers had been reported missing to the Jackson Police Department within the 24 hours prior to their discovery by sanitation workers.
An investigation launched by the Hinds County Sheriff's Office revealed that both Hudson and Burrell had sustained multiple gunshot wounds. Investigators believe the shooting was a targeted incident and that the two were likely killed at the location where their bodies were found.
In connection with the double homicide, three individuals have been taken into custody. Bruce White, 18, and Ezra White, 19, who are not related, are both facing two counts of capital murder. A third suspect, 21-year-old Milisen Martinez, has been charged with accessory after the fact of murder. During her initial court appearance, Martinez's bond was set at $150,000, and she was ordered to have no contact with the co-defendants and to be placed on GPS monitoring. Bruce White and Ezra White were denied bond. Authorities have stated that the suspects and victims were known to each other. The investigation remains ongoing as law enforcement continues to seek information from the public regarding the circumstances that led to the deaths of the two teenagers.
