Christopher Stinson, 29, was murdered on May 8, 2013, on Detroit’s northwest side. The incident occurred on Lasher Road, between Grand River Avenue and West McNichols. Christopher, who was known as "Bam," was walking back from a Citgo gas station when someone called his name. As he turned around, he was shot in the chest. He was a Navy veteran, having joined at 17, and served during 9/11. Stinson left behind a wife and two children.
