In the summer of 2022, a tragic incident cut short the life of 12-year-old Kenyon Davis in Detroit, Michigan. On the evening of July 19th, inside a home on the city's west side, what began as playtime between cousins turned into a devastating event. Kenyon, a young male, was with his 13-year-old cousin when a handgun was introduced into their activities. The older boy was reportedly handling the firearm when it discharged, striking Kenyon.
