In the winter of 2017, a tragic incident unfolded in a Detroit apartment, forever altering the lives of a young family. Three-year-old Kyrei Boyd, a little boy, lost his life on December 6th in a home on Rossiter Street. The cause of his death was a single gunshot wound to the face. In the initial moments of the investigation, there were conflicting reports about how the shooting occurred.
