Darius Jones Jr., a 19-year-old from Detroit, Michigan, was tragically found dead on June 26, 2020. His body was discovered wrapped in a carpet inside an abandoned home on the 11800 block of Elmdale. The Detroit Police Department had issued a missing person alert for Jones on June 21, 2020, after he was last seen alive around 4 p.m. near Westphalia. His disappearance and subsequent death shocked the community and led to an intensive investigation by local authorities.
