Travaughn Rox, a 20-year-old from Detroit, Michigan, tragically lost his life on January 27, 2018. The incident occurred around 4:15 p.m. on the 5000 block of Coplin, located north of East Warren and west of Chalmers. According to authorities, Rox was fatally shot during a marijuana transaction that turned violent. The suspect, Tyrone Anthony Walker, 34, allegedly chased Rox and shot him multiple times once he caught up with him.
