On a cold February day in Detroit, the lives of two men were tragically cut short. Shantel Owens, a 45-year-old man, and his acquaintance, 50-year-old Tyrus Durell 'Thrust' Walker, were found inside a home, both having succumbed to gunshot wounds. The discovery was made on February 8, 2022, sending a ripple of concern through the west side neighborhood.
