On the night of July 17, 2016, Hassan Al-Watan, a 26-year-old Iraqi man, was fatally shot in Detroit, Michigan. The incident unfolded at approximately 11:30 p.m. at a Fuel Depot gas station located at 18142 W. Warren. Al-Watan was behind the wheel of his Dodge Ram when a black Cadillac Escalade pulled up alongside him.
