Faraj "Freddy" Dally, a 63-year-old Chaldean American, was killed on May 1, 2012, in Detroit, Michigan, while attempting to open his liquor store, the Medicine Chest. Dally was approached by two suspects who robbed him and shot him twice in the head, leaving him lifeless just outside his store at around 9 a.m. The suspects were reported to have been two Black males wearing scarves over their heads, fleeing the scene in a dark-colored SUV, possibly a Dodge Journey.
