In the quiet town of Hopkinsville, Kentucky, a life was tragically cut short on a Friday night in November of 2015. Justin Keith Fish, a 27-year-old male, was found dead after having been shot multiple times. The events of that evening unfolded at a residence in the city, leading to a swift arrest.
Police were alerted to the scene not by a witness or a neighbor, but by the alleged shooter himself.
David Markle, who was 29 years old at the time, placed a call to the authorities, informing them that he had just shot someone. When officers arrived at the home, they discovered Markle at the scene, along with the body of Justin Fish. A handgun was also recovered from the residence.
