On a late afternoon in Hopkinsville, Kentucky, the life of 27-year-old Khailil D'Antonino Antwoine Buckner was tragically cut short. On Monday, February 26, 2024, officers responded to a call of a shooting at a residence on North McPherson Avenue around 5:30 p.m. There they found Buckner with a single gunshot wound to his chest. First aid was administered at the scene before he was flown to Skyline Medical Center in Nashville, Tennessee, where he ultimately succumbed to his injury.
