In the summer of 2021, the life of 48-year-old Devon Devaughn Kendrick, a Black male from Hopkinsville, Kentucky, was tragically cut short. On the night of July 28th, police responded to a call of shots fired on Sharpe Street. Upon arrival, they discovered Kendrick suffering from multiple gunshot wounds. He was rushed to Jennie Stuart Medical Center and later airlifted to Vanderbilt University Medical Center in Nashville, Tennessee. Despite undergoing emergency surgery, he succumbed to his injur ...
