In the early morning hours of a November Saturday in Hopkinsville, Kentucky, a violent encounter cut short the life of 35-year-old Keith Ivory. On November 22, 2014, Ivory was fatally shot in the 1900 block of McHenry Street, a tragedy that would soon lead to a swift arrest. The male victim, also known by the nickname 'SLICK,' was pronounced dead as a result of the gun violence.
The Hopkinsville Police Department quickly launched an investigation into the shooting.
Their efforts led them to a suspect, 29-year-old Quinton Thomas Quarles. Later that same day, authorities located and took Quarles into custody in connection with Ivory's death.
Following his apprehension, Quinton Thomas Quarles was charged with murder for his alleged role in the fatal shooting of Keith Ivory.
