On October 12, 2024, 15-year-old Dubar Tyreek Knowles, a freshman at Schenectady High School, was fatally shot during a house party at 1122 Congress Street in Schenectady, New York. The incident occurred around 11:20 p.m., when police responded to multiple reports of gunfire and found a large crowd fleeing the scene.
