Leon J. Graves, a 29-year-old resident of Schenectady, NY, tragically lost his life on December 5, 2020. Graves was found with a gunshot wound on Maplewood Avenue, and despite the efforts of medics from the Schenectady Fire Department, he was pronounced dead at the scene. The Schenectady Police Department, with assistance from the major crimes unit of the state police, launched an investigation into his death, classifying it as a homicide.
