On December 6, 2016, at approximately 11:26 AM, Terry Crutchfield, aged 45, was fatally shot in the 1500 block of Olive Street, NE, Washington, DC. The Metropolitan Police Department responded to the scene and initiated an investigation into the homicide. Crutchfield, known by friends as "Tubbs," was shot in the back during what was later identified as a drug robbery.
