In the early hours of a summer day in the nation's capital, tragedy struck. On Thursday, July 22, 2004, at approximately 12:42 a.m., a male named Jerome A. Scott was found shot to death. The incident occurred alongside the 3400 block of 25th Street, SE in Washington, D.C. At the time of his death, he was the beloved father of a daughter and the devoted son of his mother and father.
