In the late evening hours of Sunday, November 3, 2024, the sounds of gunshots shattered the night in the 2100 block of Savannah Terrace in Southeast Washington, D.C.. When officers from the Seventh District arrived at the scene around 9:58 p.m., they discovered a man suffering from gunshot wounds. He was conscious and breathing and was transported to a local hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.
