On August 30, 2004, Kenneth Green and Kiysha Hunter were tragically shot and killed in the early hours of the morning. The incident occurred at approximately 3:00 a.m. while they were inside a red car, waiting at a traffic light at the intersection of 33rd Place and South Dakota Avenue, NE, Washington, D.C. Both Green and Hunter were pronounced dead at the scene after being found by law enforcement officers who responded to reports of a shooting in the area.
