On December 24, 2021, at approximately 5:14 PM, Parris Thurman, a 24-year-old resident of Northeast Washington, DC, was tragically shot and killed in the 200 block of 56th Street, NE. The Metropolitan Police Department (MPD) responded to the scene and initiated an investigation into the circumstances surrounding his death. The incident occurred in a residential area, and the police have been actively seeking the public's assistance in gathering information related to this homicide.
