In the early hours of Thursday, July 2, 2020, the life of 23-year-old Zamonte Clark was tragically cut short in Washington, D.C. A male, he was found by Sixth District police officers around 4:12 a.m. in the 1500 block of 25th Street, Southeast, unconscious and suffering from gunshot wounds. D.C. Fire and Emergency Medical Services personnel arrived at the scene and found no signs of life. Clark was pronounced dead at the scene.
