On May 10, 2017, Dejon Charles Sutton, a 24-year-old resident of Washington, DC, was tragically shot and killed. The incident occurred at approximately 8:43 PM in the 6100 block of Banks Place, NE. Sutton was found suffering from gunshot wounds and was pronounced dead at the scene. The Metropolitan Police Department (MPD) immediately launched an investigation into the homicide, seeking the public's assistance in gathering information regarding the case.
