Robinson was discovered inside a vehicle in the 900 block of Division Avenue NE, suffering from multiple gunshot wounds. Emergency responders rushed him to a local hospital, but his injuries proved fatal.
Known to friends and family as 'Domo' or 'Nice,' Robinson was a father and a vocal advocate
for his Deanwood community. Less than a year before his death, he had testified before the D.C. Council, speaking out against what he described as violent police tactics in his neighborhood.
