Upon their arrival, they discovered a male suffering from multiple gunshot wounds.
Emergency medical services were dispatched to the scene, and the victim,
identified as Taquan Smith of Southeast, D.C., was quickly transported to a local hospital in an attempt to save his life. Despite all life-saving efforts, he was pronounced dead.
