Death by Force

On October 30, 2018, at approximately 10:28 PM, Taquan Smith, aged 25, was shot and killed in the 4800 block of Alabama Avenue, SE, Washington, DC. The Metropolitan Police Department (MPD) responded to the scene and began an investigation into the homicide. According to the MPD, Smith was found suffering from gunshot wounds and was pronounced dead at the scene.
