On a Tuesday afternoon, the life of Preston D. Walker was tragically cut short. On October 3, 2006, at approximately 3:47 p.m., the young man was shot and killed in front of a residence at 1925 M Street, Northeast, in Washington, D.C. The beloved son of Carolyn Walker Webb and Shirley Webb, he also left behind two sisters and three brothers.
