In the spring of 2015, a burst of gunfire shattered the afternoon calm in Southeast Washington, D.C., leaving a young man's life cut tragically short. On Wednesday, May 13, 2015, at approximately 4:00 p.m., 23-year-old Jermaine Jordan was shot in the 500 block of Newcomb Street, SE. The Metropolitan Police Department responded to reports of the shooting and discovered Jordan suffering from gunshot wounds.
