In the early hours of Sunday, November 1, 2020, the life of 16-year-old Kareem Palmer was tragically cut short. The male teenager was found suffering from a gunshot wound at approximately 1:00 a.m. in the 1300 block of Mapleview Place, SE, in Washington, D.C. Emergency crews transported him to a local hospital, but his life could not be saved. The incident occurred just a block from where he lived with his mother and brothers in Anacostia.
