Joel Akridge, a 53-year-old man from Columbus, Georgia, disappeared on March 28, 2015. He was last seen leaving his home on Valleybrook Road to walk to a nearby Dollar General on Amber Drive. Akridge was known for taking regular walks to this store, but he always returned home by the end of the day. On this occasion, however, he never came back, and his family realized he was missing after 29 hours had passed.
