In the evening hours of a Tuesday in the nation's capital, a burst of gunfire shattered the night, leaving a man fatally wounded. On September 8, 2020, at approximately 9:24 p.m., members of the Third District of the Metropolitan Police Department heard gunshots and rushed to the 600 block of N Street, Northwest.
