In the early morning hours of April 19, 1994, the body of 21-year-old Louis Edward Lehear was discovered on the grounds of a junior high school in Northeast Washington, D.C.. Lehear, a male resident of Fort Washington, had been fatally shot. His body was found by District police officers at approximately 5:30 a.m. on the east steps of Eliot Junior High School, located in the Lincoln Park neighborhood.
