In the summer of 2023, a street brawl in Washington, D.C. turned deadly, claiming the life of 24-year-old Maurice Robinson. The altercation erupted on the evening of Monday, June 12th, on the 2900 block of Southern Avenue, Southeast. The dispute, which reportedly stemmed from an ongoing conflict involving a family member of the alleged shooter, escalated into a physical confrontation between two groups.
